About
Hi, I'm Dusty — owner of CreatIV3 Productions and a lifelong student of live visual storytelling. My passion is live music production, and everything I've built is rooted in that love of capturing the energy of a live performance in real time.
"Fourteen years inside CBC Sports mobile production — that's where I learned to stay calm when everything is live, on air, and unscripted."
I started out as a Tape Operator before specialising as an Instant Replay Operator — the person responsible for capturing, organizing, and playing back every key moment of a live broadcast at a moment's notice. Over 14 years with the CBC Sports mobile division I covered major sports across the country, worked as a mobile technician and replay operator at 4 Olympic Games, including Paris 2024, contributed to the post-production of a Bachman/Cummings special, and a season of Dragon's Den. I've also worked sports camera operation at the university level and as a play-follow operator during a World Junior hockey showcase in Kamloops, BC.
Today I bring that same professional-grade thinking to every production — whether it's a live concert, a podcast, a cooking segment, or your first steps into the world of livestreaming.
